About Me: I work with individuals struggling with a variety of concerns, including addiction, anxiety, depression, and grief. I also work with couples seeking to repair or strengthen their relationship.
I believe the counseling room should be a space where you can vent your frustrations and really be heard, in a way that is not often possible with other people in your life. It is an opportunity to learn more about yourself, gain clarity about situations and relationships, and explore changes you would like to make. You probably have made many attempts to solve your problems already, and it takes courage to reach out for help. I consider it an honor to get to know clients and be a part of the journey of personal growth.
Counseling is a second career for me, after spending 20 years in education and as a professional musician. This background serves me well as a counselor, as it honed and refined my listening and collaboration skills. I continue to work as a professional musician in the area and work to make time for traveling and reading. Along with my wife of 22 years, I am the proud parent of a teenage son and a daughter who is off experiencing college.
