About the Family Tree Program
The Family Tree Program provides free (Funded by the state of Texas) short-term services for Denton and Dallas County’s at-risk youth and their families. (You can learn more about the current program and services FamilyTreeProgram.org)
$75-$85 per session
About this Contract Therapist Position: Primary duties will include providing individual youth and family counseling during after school, evening and weekend hours to clients enrolled in the Family Tree Program. The program utilizes contract therapists to increase service accessibility for working families who may need services after work or school hours. This is also a “roaming” position: we may ask you to provide services in more than one of our locations.
Requires a master’s degree, license, one year experience with at-risk youth, family therapy experience and the ability to counsel in English and Spanish (Bilingual).
This is an ideal position for someone who has completed their masters and is building hours toward full licensure (LPC Associate, LMSW, LMFT-Associate). Clinical Supervision toward full licensure is available for LPC Associates and LMSWs.
An ideal candidate will be a team player, flexible, a good communicator, detailed, technologically savvy, and low maintenance.
This position requires 15 hours of after school, evenings or weekend availability to match the schedules of our targeted clients.

You are welcome to build your private practice to include other types of clients outside of the hours dedicated to the Family Tree clients.
