About the Family Tree Assistant Director Position: If you are well qualified for the Family Therapist position (see below) but also have experience in supervision, administration and management, this may be the job for you. While your primary duties will still include direct services, this position lightens some of the clinical load in exchange for those advanced management skills. This position requires the ability to manage other professionals, create and utilize data, research, organize, present, and evaluate. If that list of words appeals to you, this may be a good match for you.
About the Family Therapist Position: Primary duties will include providing individual youth and family counseling to clients enrolled in the Family Tree Program. You will also work with fellow staff and assist in other aspects of service delivery, including, but not limited to outreach to the community, data entry in the State system, and creating/engaging in presentations to the community on various mental health topics.
You may provide some other non-clinical direct services, such as youth/parent psychoeducational groups. This is a roaming position and you may be working in any of our three offices (Denton, Farmers Branch, or Lewisville) or from a satellite office. Initially, your anchor location will be in our Farmers Branch office.
Requires a master’s degree, full license (LPC, LCSW or LMFT), one year experience with at-risk youth and family therapy experience, and experience in supervision or management.
